In honor of CTAE month, Mrs. Teston's wildlife class had the privilege of welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Hicks as our guest speakers Friday, February 7th. As dedicated members of the community, the Hicks actively engage in wildlife management throughout Camden and the surrounding counties. Through their captivating YouTube channel, #intheface, they present insightful and practical education on the significance of humanely hunting and trapping nuisance animals that pose threats to our natural landscapes and disrupt the delicate balance of local ecosystems.
Their work emphasizes that effective wildlife management is vital for preventing the spread of disease, controlling overpopulation, and fostering a healthy, sustainable environment for all species. We are thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Hicks for taking the time to share their invaluable expertise and passion for wildlife conservation with our class.
